Barrel:
Barrel is the important part of the paintball, the accuracy of this section will make the game more accurate. The length, size, shape, and style all feature of the barrel are to be considered to get the best outcome.
Length of the barrel is the first part which has to be considered, a short barrel though would make it easy to carry wouldn’t be able to give the best outcome and a too long and large barrel might give the best outcome but to carry them and holding them would be a hard job so managing a barrel of an optimum size is mainly important.
Secondly, it is considered that rifle style barrel is a much better choice for paint ball. As they are designed in such a specific way that there area is short, problem of friction being produced is lesser, hence, they are able to provide a much better result.

The size of the bore:
The size of the bore is the second important feature which has to be considered while the accuracy of the paintball gun is considered. As the bore is pathway through which the paintball comes out its size is of major concern.
A bore which is pretty narrow would make it impossible for the paintballs to come out and they would stuck hence, it would create problem while the game.
A bore to wide would not hold the paintball efficiently, a large surface area would be there and for shooting the paintball large amount of force and energy would be needed which would make it hard for the players to manage at critical time.
A suitable size is what advisable, a size which would neither be too large or to small would just be perfect enough for the paintball to be shot and hence, it would give us enough time to aim our target giving us an accurate result.
The size of the bore can be measured by sliding the paintball through the bore, if it would slide perfectly than the width is too big, if it would slightly be fix but would slide down than the size is perfect but if it would get stuck than its too small.

Maintaining the barrel:
Maintenance of a barrel is really important for keeping the paintball gun working for a long time and having a desirable result in the game. As the game is usually played outdoors there is a great involvement of dirt which gets stuck in the barrel or bore, packing the inside of the gun which would create trouble in the process of the shooting.
The stuck mud would also disturb the mechanism by even creating friction which will also result in affecting the end result. Dirt or mud can even form rust inside the gun hence making it hard to function properly. Other than that Paint can also gather inside the gun this could also create disturbance as the inside of the gun, the accumulated mud can create friction making it hard for the balls to slide, a rough inner structure can be created.
Too much oil can also be gathered which can again effect the function of the gun, as too much oil will cancel out friction completely but to function properly there is a need of slight friction, Therefore, it was gathered that to maintain the accuracy of the gun it’s important to maintain the cleanliness of the gun or else the working of the gun can be greatly affected.

Gas Pressure:
Gas pressure is one of the most effective pressures which are used in various purposes, in paintball guns gas pressure is used to make the paintball move across their body and being projected out at the aim.
They create a much needed velocity and help in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of the gun. The most commonly used gas for creating air pressure is Carbon-di-oxide, as the tanks for the gas is easily available and are much lighter than the compressed gas.
Apart from their easy availability they are quite cost efficient which makes them quite useful for many. For the people who play paintball on quite a regular basis can have CO2 as they can easily get the tanks on affordable prices.
However, the compressed gases are a bit expensive and are not that easily available but are a far better option comparing to Carbon dioxide but unlike carbon dioxide it doesn’t have expanding quality making it a far better and efficient option for the gun.
As CO2 is liquid and turn into gas and sometimes due to the weather condition the efficiency of the gas is affected. But for compressed gas player can be sure as it won’t expand but would rather provide a more accurate result.
Paintballs:
Lastly but definitely the most important item for the accuracy of the gun is the paintballs. As they are the most important feature their quality and size play a great role to understand the quality and accuracy of the gun apart from the above mentioned factors.
Paintball like any other part if would be of high quality, will definitely give us a better result but of low quality can affect the accuracy of the gun.
Though the high quality ones are obviously of higher prices but definitely a better option as the lower quality ones can result in formation of bubbles in the gun. Other than that to maintain the good accuracy it is important to also consider the size of the paintballs. If the size is too small like mentioned above would affect the projection when would be shot as they will not move out of the bore in the desired and if would be too small might get stuck, so, it’s important to consider the size and quality.
